Yay! My heavy baby finally starts crawling! Aver has managed to get a good grasp of the techniques especially today. BRAVO, my darling. Mummy knows you are having a tough time struggling with your burdensome body, but you made it! It's not too bad, at 9 months + 1 week. Mummy is so proud of you!!!
His moves are super cute. Super.
Rapid hands and legs movements, great coordination, with the very determined look. Woooh!

Malaysia, KL, 17-19 November 2012
What an experience! This is the first time we brought Aver for overnight stay vacation out of Singapore.
It was a sudden idea from hubby on the 15th afternoon. The same evening, we bought coach tickets. The next day, hotel was confirmed. And off we go on 17th morning! I love surprises! (Not really a surprise, but I am thinking of it like a surprise. I feel happier! haha)
We weren't sure what to expect. I mean... we were in fact kindof worried that Aver may not be ready for the 6 hour coach ride.. I think many babies hate long rides, they may become cranky and protest. . .in their own ways. But my dear verver is different. He is highly adaptable and highly accomodative! Hee. All our worries (about him) never happened. Super amazing baby! Love love love!
The coach ride really took 6 hours. We reached the hotel at 4-ish... Aver loves the big bed! Flip flip flip. (How I wish ours is a King size too...)
First stop was daddy's must-go shop in KL - JUICE.
See the boy ^_^
Whatever, this is your * country. You win.

Mid Valley Shopping Mall
Day 2. The hotel breakfast sucks big time. My high class taste buds deservesonly good food.
See my Aver, the cannot-sit-still baby. (behaving more and more like a baby)..(he used to be slightly more mature, lol)
At the Pavilion.
Aver and I were looking at the hideous looking security guard. Who stopped us from using the tripod. Huh?! I still can't understand the rationale.. He said, in a we-barely-can-understand-english "Can take foto, cannot use this (pointing to our tripod)"
... err... ... ...
Whatever, this is your * country. You win.
Crepe cake! I see you again! I love it. Yumm.
Last day! Time passes so quickly when you are enjoying yourself, in a relaxed mode.
It rained. A further test of Aver's obedience.
Look at his small hand. Cute cute.
We dashed the KL street under an umbrella. And for Aver, in darkness. Oops. lolz.
FINALE! Last stop at daddy's fav dessert place.
Bye bye, KL. See you again next time!

Life is beautiful
Life is full of ups and downs. Things happen for a reason, and I believe they ALWAYS happen for good reasons. I am forward looking, because life is beautiful.

Random thoughts
Kept my promise, brought my darling verver for a dip in the pool the weekend before last. He was super happy again.. Yakking all the way..!
Planning to bring him for another dip this Friday. Looking forward!

Trip to JB.

Whenever possible, I will share my recipes on baby food (those that I've prepared for Aver so far). Super proud. I've tried them all, trust me, they are delicious!
I started to introducing solids to Aver when he was 5+ months old... Now that he has just turned 8 months, a typical meal for him includes porridge with fish plus 2 or 3 types of vegetables in stock. Today's menu: Porridge with threadfin + spinach + carrot + broccoli in stock (prepared by boiling chicken breast fillet, old cucumber and dried scallop). Oh, and dessert for him today is yoghurt (plain one, non sugar) with mashed banana. Yum yum! I'm so happy to see him enjoy the food, as I've prepared them with so much love, I'm sure Aver feels it too!

My pretty lil niece, Ning, turned one year old on Saturday (20 October 2012). Aver and I had a good time at the chalet, all the guests had fun too! I wish Ning great health forever and be a GOOD GOOD girl!!!
Counting down, it'll be a blink of an eye we will be celebrating Aver's one year old birthday in less than 4 months time. How I wish time will stop, every moment spent with him is sooo precious...
Love you, darling.
Aver in his new Thomas and Friends swimsuit.Cutecute.
This photo reminded me of something. After munching on his biscuity, Aver grabbed his blue AVENT water bottle, sucked a few mouthful of water and put the bottle down. Hubby and I just looked at each other, amazed.
Planning to bring him for another dip this Friday. Looking forward!

Happy-verver
Aver spent a playful afternoon at Skyve last weekend. It's quite a cushy place, with comfortable settees and soft background music - very suitable for my lil' Aver. It's rather obvious that he feels comfortable there as he was basically in a fantastic mood! I guess it's probably because he was used to listening to classical music since he was a foetus (?!?) This sounds weird. Ok... how about....., at the time when he was negative 6 months old.. errr, whatever. You know what I mean **
Aver's accomplishment of the day was entertaining the adults with his suspicious yet innocent frown (this has become his trademark), contagious laughter, and newly discovered high-pitched screams^. Well done, my darling!
^Not being bias, but his screams are music to my ears - just so cute, happy and "friendly". I've never heard him scream at the top of his voice for any unhappy reason. Once again, what an amazing baby.
Shocking-look verver
Other fun stuff that Aver did last weekend - exploration with Ning jie-jie at her play corner and princess tent, cam-whoring with the 2 doting gu-gus (again), and swimming...!
This is the 2nd time Aver went swimming. He simply looooves it! Once we put him in the water, he is unstoppable. Haaa. Almost impossible to imagine. My friends (Gisella and gang) always say he is a "mature and sensible" baby. Always "cool and composed". Haha .... Lolzz. So absurd right.
In one of the pools, where the water depth is as low as 0.3m (he could stand on his feet), he drove his float car just like the way he moves around in his walker! Excitingly wander around the pool with little hurried steps - extreme cuteness!!!
Off he goes... Unstoppable!
Focusing
Wrinkled toes after the swim ^_^
Don't think we managed to take any shots with him smiling because he is either back facing us, or concentrating (with the usual focused look - frowning slightly), or laughing excitedly with his 4 limbs flapping repeatedly! (this happens too fast for us to manage a snap)
Love you, my baby.
Mummy promises to bring you to the pool frequently!

Now or Never
Yes, here it is. I finally get down to pen my thoughts... The pushing factor, my super lovable 7.5 month old son. I just feel like shouting out loud and clear now: "Mummy loves you, Aver!"
Why today? It must be a special day (a working Thursday?? huh?). It is certainly one of the most hectic and tiring day after I resumed work from maternity leave! These 2-3 weeks have been quite crazy, so much so that I can't even spare the time to miss my baby. Sorry, darling.... So I reckoned it's my guilt for not missing my Aver enough that drove me in beating my procrastination (yah, 7.5 months of procrastination).
Being a working mum is indeed not easy. I am living it. Female is DEFINITELY the superior gender!!! (side note-haha)
I can't feel more blessed and thankful (to I don't know who because I am a free-thinker for as long as I've lived) to have such a wonderful baby. Aver constantly amazes daddy and me with his every cutable and smartable behavior. Awesome baby! Sometimes I think it's good karma showering on me...
2 days old Aver, looking at me with those innocent eyes.. awwww@@
Simply blessed*
